 This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) is published by the company, Desipro Pte. Ltd. having its liaison office at Autograph Building, 5th Floor, Kemal Ataturk Avenue Banani, Dhaka- 1213, Bangladesh (“Desipro BD”). This “Site”, https://joinus.decathlon.com.bd/en, is protected by intellectual property, including copyrights, designs, trademarks, domain names, patents, know-how, software or databases. Desipro BD and/or its partners remain the owner(s) of all such content and associated rights. On this content, Desipro BD grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license, without the right to sublicense for simple access, navigation and use related to this Site. This license does not grant you any other rights, in particular to commercially exploit these contents. 

By completing the form on this Site, you consent to the processing of your personal information and authorise Desipro BD to collect and process personal information about you in its database, namely, your first name, middle name and surname, home address, phone number, email ID, training, work experience, remuneration history, degrees, awards, interview summaries, etc., and, more broadly, any information and personal data which you communicate to Decathlon as part of your application. We process the data that allows us to recruit our future talents. Some of the data that you may provide include, but are not limited to:

● Cover letter 

● Videos or photographs (if applicable) 

● Competency questionnaire (if applicable) 

● Remuneration Value 

● The sport(s) of passion 

● The number of hours and days of availability (depending on the type of contract) 

● The reasons for the selection of your contract type (if applicable) 

● Satisfaction questionnaire etc. 

Desipro BD informs you that it may also enhance your profile with information about you, namely information collected (i) during its interactions with you, whether written, via telephone or physical interviews, and (ii) from professional social networks, recruitment agency, or from any public information source, when such information is relevant to the management of your application. 

This information is subject to computer processing for the management of your application. Your data may also be included in a CV library which will enable Desipro BD to provide you with other offers, where applicable. 

To facilitate internal and external recruitment, Desipro BD uses the DigitalRecruiters software, published by the company CEGID, to share job offers and to collect and manage applications. 

Desipro BD acts as the controller of the personal data communicated by you and CEGID acts as a subcontractor. Desipro BD stores and process your personal data, on computers that may be protected by physical as well as reasonable technological security measures and procedures in accordance with applicable laws including but not limited to –

2. Information & Communication Technology Act, 2006 

3. The Digital Security Act, 2018 

4. The Data Protection Act, 2018 

5. The Telecommunication Act, 2001 

6. General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). 

Given its ultimate purpose, that of processing the personal data of candidates responding to job offers and including candidates’ data in the CV library of Desipro BD, the processing of your personal data is required to pursue the legitimate interests of Desipro BD, namely the management of its recruitment processes, as well as the performance of pre-contractual measures which may exist between Desipro BD and the candidates responding to job offers. 

This data is hosted in France and will be sent to the people in charge of recruitment within Desipro BD to enable them to study your application. 

Responses for fields marked with an asterisk are obligatory and failure to enter a response is likely to compromise the follow-up of your application. In other cases, they are optional and of no consequence to your application. 

By accepting the conditions of this Policy, you authorise Desipro BD to communicate, where necessary, your personal data to other companies within the Decathlon Group and to its affiliates, including Decathlon Group companies which may be located outside Bangladesh, to manage your application and to enhance its CV library. Desipro BD declares that it has taken the necessary measures to oversee transfers outside Bangladesh and to protect your personal data as per applicable laws. You can make a request to Desipro BD to provide comprehensive information about the data transferred, the precise recipients of the information and the means implemented to oversee this transfer. Disclosures to other third parties may also be required for Desipro BD to provide access to Desipro BD’s Site and services, to comply with Desipro BD’s legal obligations, to enforce any agreements, or to prevent, detect, mitigate, and investigate fraudulent or illegal activities related to Desipro BD’s Site or services. Desipro BD does not disclose your personal information to third parties for their marketing and advertising purposes without your explicit consent. 

Desipro BD may disclose personal information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to respond to subpoenas, court orders, judicial or quassi-judicial requests or other legal processes. Desipro BD may disclose personal information to law enforcement offices, third party rights owners, or others in the good faith belief that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to (a) enforce Desipro BD’s Terms or Privacy Policy; (b) respond to claims that an advertisement, posting or other content violates the rights of a third party; or (c) protect the rights, property or personal safety of Desipro BD or any other entity of the Decathlon Group, or the general public. 

Desipro BD and its affiliates will share / transfer some or all of personal information with another business entity should Desipro BD (or Desipro BD’s assets) plan to merge with, or be acquired by that business entity, or re-organization, amalgamation, restructuring of business. In the event such transactions occur, other business entities (or the new combined entity) will be required to follow this Policy with respect to the candidate’s personal information. 

As a subcontractor of Desipro BD, the company CEGID is authorised to access your personal information when necessary, particularly as part of its administrative tasks and maintenance of the Desipro BD’s Site and the application management tool, but cannot communicate this data to its own subcontractors without obtaining the prior agreement of the Desipro BD. 

We inform you that your personal data is computerised and processed confidentially, with guarantees that personal data put online will be kept secure and confidential. 

You can exercise your right to access, rectify, update or delete your personal data or opt out by writing to the following email address: hr.bangladesh@decathlon.com. You also have the right to ask Desipro BD to send you all your personal data in a structured format.
